Our company has once again been awarded a contract for a supporting project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Release Date:2014-05-29

Recently, the Research Institute of Sinopec Nanhua Group issued a public tender for a pilot-scale GTL syngas purification unit project. Our company assembled a dedicated team to study the project requirements and technical background, and by leveraging our proprietary core technologies, we proposed a sound technical solution and an optimized design. Building on our strong track record in exporting turnkey plants, we stood out among numerous competitors and successfully won the bid.

This project is a national-level research initiative commissioned by the U.S. Department of Energy and conducted by the University of Kentucky. It aims to utilize Kentucky’s abundant low-grade lignite and employ new processes such as coal gasification to achieve coal-to-liquid production through coal hydrogenation. This represents a strategic research and development project for new and alternative energy sources in the United States, designed to reduce dependence on traditional energy sources such as petroleum and shale gas. The turnkey plant for this project was contracted by the China Academy of Electronic Engineering Design and was awarded through an open tender by the Research Institute of Sinopec Nanhua Group.

The implementation of this project has played a positive role in enhancing our company’s capabilities in design, construction, and technical services, particularly by deepening our understanding of U.S. standards and regulatory requirements, thereby laying a solid foundation for the company’s future expansion into the European and American markets.

Currently, the project is being implemented at an accelerated pace in accordance with the required schedule.
